About the School Board

The Board of Education serves as the governing body for District #68.  A total of seven members are elected to serve a four-year term.  Board meetings are usually held on the fourth Wednesday of each month (unless otherwise posted) at Oak Grove School.  The public is welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings.  If you are interested in becoming a Board of Education member, please contact the county clerk's office (Click Here for more information).

Budget Hearing - September 23, 2025. A public hearing will take place to allow for public comment on the 2025-26 amended budget. The full tentative budget can be viewed at the district office between the hours of 8 am to 3 pm and has been available since August 21st, 2025. The public hearing will take place at 6 pm at Oak Grove School, 6018 W Lancaster Rd, Bartonville, IL 61607 with the regular meeting taking place immediately following the hearing. E-Learning Hearing - September 23, 2025. A public hearing will take place to allow for public comment on the 2025-28 e-learning plan. The public hearing will take place at 6 pm at Oak Grove School, 6018 W Lancaster Rd, Bartonville, IL 61607 with the regular meeting taking place immediately following the hearing.
