Math Curriculum Review

A goal of our school district, as conveyed through our School Improvement Plan, is to “establish a consistent curriculum from grades K-8, to increase student achievement and support social-emotional well-being.” Over the course of the 21-22 school year, select members of our teaching staff have been participating in a math curriculum pilot intended to research, identify, and test out a prospective math curriculum for implementation at Oak Grove. As a result of this pilot, it has been recommended that Oak Grove adopt the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum for all grades beginning in the 2022 school year. The Board of Education will take action to adopt this curriculum at the March 23rd meeting. As key stakeholders of the Oak Grove School District, you are invited to review this curriculum and provide feedback ahead of this meeting by responding directly to nalmasi@og68.org or sharing your thoughts with members of the Board of Education.
